Parents Association

The Parents Association is a very active and dedicated group of parents who volunteer their time to integrate into the community of our school.

Parents can get involved even if they have little time. It’s a great way to:

Attend one of our many parent workshops to learn more about how we teach, support and assess your child’s learning.
Suggest a topic / area as the focal point of a workshop for parents
Come and share your concerns and points of view during our Parents’ Forum with the PIS management team
Become a guest speaker and share your knowledge and skills
Be a class reader
Be a classroom activity assistant

Enter and lead a cultural workshop (cooking, dancing, music, crafts)
Enter and read a story
Volunteer as an assistant parent for educational visits
Be a helping parent on swim days
Volunteer as a parent caregiver to help with presentations and educational materials
Dress up on one of our theme days – International Day, Book Day
Help make props or costumes for assemblies or productions

Attend information evenings
Welcome to new families
Attend the annual Parent / Management forum
Organize social events
Participate in the International Day and other events organized by the school or the Parents’ Association
Help with charitable fundraising
Provide a presentation on an area of expertise
Supervise IB activity
Running an after-school club
