Parent Teacher Association
Parents Association
The Parents Association is a very active and dedicated group of parents who volunteer their time to integrate into the community of our school.
Parents can get involved even if they have little time. It’s a great way to:
- Attend one of our many parent workshops to learn more about how we teach, support and assess your child’s learning.
- Suggest a topic / area as the focal point of a workshop for parents
- Come and share your concerns and points of view during our Parents’ Forum with the PIS management team
- Become a guest speaker and share your knowledge and skills
- Be a class reader
- Be a classroom activity assistant
- Enter and lead a cultural workshop (cooking, dancing, music, crafts)
- Enter and read a story
- Volunteer as an assistant parent for educational visits
- Be a helping parent on swim days
- Volunteer as a parent caregiver to help with presentations and educational materials
- Dress up on one of our theme days – International Day, Book Day
- Help make props or costumes for assemblies or productions
